Local Missions

Advance Community is devoted to making a difference in the region we call home. The problems of lack of food, addictions, divorce, broken homes, rebellious teens, debt, and aimless living plague our region. We want to be intentional in combating these trends. This will be an ongoing priority of our DNA.

Individuals and Community Groups regularly serve by:

  • Assisting local churches in our region as they help our communities
  • Raising awareness regarding the persecuted church (within the states and around the world)
  • Building relationships with widows, single parents, the elderly, and those who are enduring difficult times within our region. These friendships lead to great opportunities of tangible service and gospel-centered intentionality.

If you would like to make the church aware of an upcoming opportunity in a local community, please contact us.

We are currently working with local pastors in the Dominican Republic and in Romania!

We are excited to have established a network of people from all over the United States who are engaged in transforming impoverished communities in the Dominican Republic. This network includes people of a variety of backgrounds and professions such as construction workers, doctors, nurses, pastors, coaches, teachers, teenagers, and more. We are committed to building meaningful relationships that intentionally impact people on a physical, emotional, and spiritual level by equipping church leaders and offering a team mission trip each year.

“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age” (Matthew 28:18-20).

As we go--across the street, across town, or across the world--our mission is singular: to make disciples of Jesus Christ. God continues to work in and through us to make His name great and to grow His Kingdom on this earth.

Below are some stories that give a glimpse of how God is at work!

"Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples!" Psalm 96:3
