community groups

A Community Group is a small group of people who gather in their local neighborhood to enjoy and advance the gospel of Jesus Christ as a community. These groups explore the gospel of Jesus Christ in STUDY of the scriptures, SUPPORT one another and their neighbors, and SERVE the community together through creative compassion & with the message and mercy of Jesus Christ.

Most of our Community Groups are mixed gender and multi-generational seeking to learn from Christians in various life stages, professions, and at different places in their understanding of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Community Groups meet four times per month and have a rhythm of Study and Serving.

For example a Community Group may meet each Thursday evening from 7pm-9pm. For the first 3 weeks of each month the group will come together for Bible study, discussion, and prayer. The last week of each month, the group will serve their community; maybe it means having a neighborhood cookout or maybe it means painting the community center. We trust that God will open doors for us to serve!

Group locations: Gibsonia, Hampton, West Deer, Mars, Butler, and Stanton Heights.
